Please read these Terms of Service carefully before using romoji ("we", "us", "our", or "romoji").
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using romoji (including our website, services, browser extension if applicable, and any related features), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to all of these terms, you must not use our service.
2. Eligibility
romoji is intended for users who are at least 13 years of age. If you are under 13 years old, you may not use this service. By using romoji, you represent and warrant that you meet the age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.
Users must also comply with Roblox's Terms of Use, Community Standards, and any other applicable platform rules.
3. Description of Service
romoji is an independent third-party utility platform that allows Roblox users to create and share unique "Combo" (emoji strings) to more easily connect with other players. The service provides profile pages, link sharing, analytics, and optional premium subscription tiers.
romoji is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Roblox Corporation. We do not control Roblox or any third-party platforms (Discord, YouTube, Instagram, etc.).
4. User Accounts and Verification
To create a profile and generate a Combo, you must complete our onboarding process, including email verification and ownership verification of your Roblox account (by temporarily placing your assigned Combo in your Roblox "About Me" or a controlled group wall).
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
5. User Content and Combos
You retain ownership of the content you upload or create (including your Combo, bio, and links). By submitting content to romoji, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute that content solely for the purpose of providing the service.
You agree not to create or use Combos that are obscene, hateful, harassing, illegal, or attempt to bypass Roblox safety filters in bad faith. We reserve the right to remove any Combo or profile that violates these Terms.
6. Data Collection and Linking
In order to provide the service and improve safety, romoji may collect and store your Roblox User ID, Roblox username, Discord username/ID (if linked), and links to other platforms (YouTube, Instagram, X, etc.).
We may use this data internally for moderation, security, abuse prevention, and to strengthen safety features. We may also share limited anonymized or identifiable data with trusted third-party safety partners (such as Rotector) for the purpose of detecting harmful behavior, condo servers, or predatory activity.
By using romoji, you explicitly consent to the collection, storage, and potential sharing of this data for safety and moderation purposes. Please refer to our Privacy Policy for more details.
7. Subscriptions, Payments & Refunds
romoji offers free (Basic) and paid subscription tiers (Plus, Max, and Lifetime). Payments are processed securely via Lemon Squeezy (our Merchant of Record).
All subscriptions are billed on a recurring basis unless you cancel. Lifetime purchases are one-time payments.
All payments are non-refundable, except where required by applicable law in your jurisdiction. We do not offer refunds for partial use of a subscription period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account or Lemon Squeezy dashboard, but you will not receive a refund for the current billing period.
You are responsible for any taxes, fees, or charges associated with your purchase. Chargebacks or fraudulent payment attempts will result in immediate account termination.
8. No Affiliation with Roblox
romoji is an independent service. Roblox Corporation is not responsible for this platform. Any issues arising from the use of Combos on Roblox are solely between you and Roblox. We are not liable for any actions taken by Roblox against your account (including warnings, bans, or restrictions).
9. User Conduct and Prohibited Activities
You agree not to use romoji to:
- Harass, threaten, or impersonate other users
- Promote or engage in illegal activities
- Attempt to bypass Roblox safety systems or filters in bad faith
- Upload or share malicious links, malware, or phishing content
- Scrape, data mine, or excessively burden our infrastructure
- Reverse engineer or attempt to access our systems without authorization
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, romoji, its owners, operators, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the service.
We provide the service "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without any warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
We are not responsible for any actions, content, links, or behavior of our users. You use romoji at your own risk.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless romoji, its operators, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to romoji at any time, with or without notice, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon suspension or termination, your right to use the service ceases immediately. To protect the safety and security of the community and to prevent evasion of sanctions, we may retain limited account-identifying information (such as Roblox User ID, linked third‑party identifiers, and contact information) even if other profile content is removed. Retention is limited to what is reasonably necessary for safety, moderation, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.
13. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. It is your responsibility to review the updated Terms. Your continued use of romoji after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
14. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
15. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
