Information You Provide

When you create an account or use romoji, we may collect:

• Email address
• Roblox User ID and Roblox username
• Your chosen "Combo" (emoji string)
• Profile bio and social links
• Moderation and verification status
• Any other information you voluntarily provide

Information from Third Parties

We collect information from Roblox public APIs, Supabase authentication, Polar billing events, and any linked identity providers such as Discord.

Automatically Collected Information

We automatically collect usage data including IP address, browser type, device information, pages visited, and interaction data. We use cookies and similar technologies to improve the service and to support analytics and security.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To provide, maintain, and improve romoji services
• To verify ownership of Roblox accounts during onboarding
• To generate and manage your unique Combo
• To provide analytics to eligible paid tiers
• For moderation, safety, and abuse prevention
• To communicate with you about your account and important updates
• To enforce our Terms of Service
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or malicious activity

3. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

We may share your information in the following circumstances:

• With service providers who assist us, including Supabase, Polar, Resend or your SMTP provider, Cloudflare Turnstile, and Vercel
• With Roblox public APIs and linked identity providers when needed to verify ownership or display your profile
• When required by law, court order, or government request
• To protect the rights, property, or safety of romoji, our users, or the public

4. Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as necessary to provide our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.

In some cases where an account has been suspended or terminated for policy violations, abuse, or fraud, we may retain identifying information such as Roblox User ID, linked third-party identifiers, and contact information to prevent sanction evasion and protect the safety of our users.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact the project owner through the repository or site footer.

You can also manage privacy preferences directly in your romoji dashboard, including the option to hide your profile from username or User ID search.

6. Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed and stored in countries outside of your own, including the United States and other jurisdictions. By using romoji, you consent to the transfer of your information to these countries.

8. Children's Privacy

romoji is not intended for children under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected such data, we will take steps to delete it.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date when we do so. Your continued use of romoji after such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
